New memory cafe at Rosie’s cafe in Maghull this August

We are delighted to share the news that from August, Alzheimer’s Society will be starting a monthly Memory Café called Rosie’s Garden Get Together, as it will be taking place in Rosie’s Garden Restaurant at:
Sefton Meadows Garden Centre in Maghull, L31 8BT.
The first meeting will be on Tuesday 12 August from 1 to 3pm, then every second Tuesday of the month.
The café is for people living with dementia and their carers to meet and support each other, make friends and receive regular support over a brew. No need to book – we’d love to see you, so just turn up.
Often carers tell us that they wish they could meet others affected by dementia to share information, concerns, tips and so on. This is what Rosie’s Garden Get Together is all about. Come and join us for an informal get-together, a chance to make friends and receive regular support over a brew!
We will be based at the back of Rosie’s with forgetme-not signs on our tables so you know it’s us! Rosie’s serve a range of tea, coffee, cakes and hot/cold meals which you can purchase whilst there.
Our Dementia Advisers will be there to welcome and support everyone. For more information please contact Caroline – 07860 394142 or Rosie – 07856 480043.
