North West Ambulance Service – Patient Care Priorities Event – 18th September 2017

September 8, 2017

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) would like to formally invite you to ‘Patient Care Priorities’ workshop, taking place on the 18th September 2017 at The Park Hotel in Netherton, Liverpool, L30 6YN.

The workshop aims to join both staff and patients together to develop a co design approach in order to understand any service improvements that are required.  Your feedback and views are more than welcome on the day, and will be of great value to NWAS’s understanding.  They hope that the sessions will be extremely interactive and would like you to get involved as much as possible –  however, this will not be a forum for complaints and concerns and we would ask for those to be directly sent to the NWAS Patient Experience team who will address any concerns you may have.

The staff involved have been working on a number of projects focusing on the following Patient Care Priorities:

  • Frailty
  • Children and Young People
  • Mental Health
  • Maternity
  • End of life

If you have a particular interest in the above topics then please let NWAS know and they will place you with that team, alternatively, if these are not of specific interest, your input would still be extremely valuable and you will be placed within one of the teams.

We may also be filming on the day to record the event, however if you do not wish to be filmed, please let NWAS know on the day and they will ensure that you are not included.

For those of you able to attend, please arrive for 12.30pm, where a welcome lunch will be provided. The event will finish at 3pm.

If you can please RSVP by the 13th September 2017, and let NWAS know if you will be bringing a carer with you so we can accommodate.  Transport costs are available and let NWAS know of any additional and dietary requirements you may need on the day.

For further details and to book on please contact Rachel Bates on tel. 0151 261 2588, or email, Rachel.bates@nwas.nhs.uk
