Be our 8 mile Hero!

This year the iconic Galloway’s Morecambe Bay Walk won’t be going ahead due to the Coronavirus pandemic but we are asking you to take part in a different way.

Every year Galloway’s runs a two-day Morecambe Bay Walk. In 2019 we had over 800 people walk the iconic Morecambe Bay from Arnside to Kents Bank. The event is crucial to Galloway’s as it raises much needed funds so we can provide amazing services to people who are living with sight loss.

As we can’t run the event in the usual way, we are asking you to walk 8 miles in any way you can during June 2020. You could do this in your garden, in your house, on the treadmill or during your daily exercise.

There are no rules on how you complete the 8 miles, you might want to run or skip, or maybe do a relay with your family! We would love you to raise sponsorship for Galloway’s by setting up a Facebook fundraiser or an online sponsorship page.
