From today the government has set out new guidance on staying safe outside your home during the coronavirus outbreak looking at what the new rules will mean.

The guidance includes key frequently asked questions people may have around the new guidance.

The government plan is to return life to as near normal for as many people as it can, as quickly and fairly as possible in order to safeguard livelihoods, but in a way that is safe and continues to protect our NHS.
