COVID-19 update from Parkhaven Trust chief executive
Parkhaven Trust Prevention Measures COVID-19 Virus
Update 23rd March 2020
I would like to start this update with a message of thanks for all your lovely comments, emails and messages – thanking our staff team for all their hard-work. We are fortunate to have an excellent, dedicated team here at Parkhaven Trust and your messages have really helped boost morale at a time that is challenging for us all.
Our staff teams are working tirelessly to ensure the comfort and safety of your loved ones, a role we are honored and privileged to do.
We will continue to follow guidance issued nationally and locally as this emerges.
Keeping in touch
As previously mentioned we have purchased a number of tablets for each service, these have now arrived (a couple of days late due to delivery delays) and are being charged and set up in order to enable the use of the Zoom app.
As soon as they are ready we will issue instructions of how to access this facility. In the meantime, in order to prepare yourself, you can download the Zoom app on to mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desk-top computers.
Please bear with us as we set this technology up and train staff on the use of these devices. We are committed to the use of new technology to ensure you can make face to face contact with your loved ones, however as I’m sure you can appreciate we may get inundated with calls and may need to schedule these video calls in. Thank you once again for your patience and co-operation.
As before, please still feel free to call the service managers at your loved ones home in order to get further updates, or call your loved one direct via their own personal phones if they live in Parkhaven Court.
If you have any concerns regarding the above, please do contact the service manager who will be happy to help you.

Your wellbeing
As we move forward through these challenging times, I hope that you are keeping well and looking after yourselves. I hope you are observing the government advice and self isolating as much as possible. By doing this we are protecting the most vulnerable in our society.
With best wishes from everyone at Parkhaven Trust
