Ear syringe clinics suspended

March 30, 2020

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust has contacted Healthwatch Sefton to pass on information regarding a community clinic service.

A spokesperson said: “To support delivery of key critical services and respond to coronavirus, the ear syringing clinics provided by the south Sefton treatment rooms have been temporarily suspended.

“The service will contact patients to inform them of appointment cancellations.

“GPs are advised to ask patients to continue using olive oil or ear drops.”
