Invitation to ‘talk health and wellbeing’ in Sefton

November 4, 2019

Sefton residents are being invited to ‘Talking Health and Wellbeing’ events next week.

People will be able to have their say on a new Health & Wellbeing Strategy – “Living Well in Sefton 2020-2025” – and the council will tell you about the results of its consultation (survey) on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment which took place over the summer.

People have already told the council what they feel is important for people about:-
•Starting and Growing Well in Sefton
•Living Well in Sefton
•Ageing Well in Sefton
•Things that affect everybody

This feedback will help to develop the council’s plans, but it also wants to check that you think they are the right priorities.

You will be asked what you think of their ambitions and plans, if you agree with them and whether there is anything that you feel has missed out that is important.

To take part you can attend any of the events below, but you only need to attend one event:
Maghull: Monday 11th November 10.00 – 12.30 pm St Andrews Church Hall
Southport: Tuesday 12th November 10.00 -12.30 pm Southport Town Hall – Community Room
Bootle: Wednesday 13th November 10.00 -12.30 pm Bootle Town Hall – Assembly Hall

Please email or call Sharon Eaton to confirm your attendance and state which event you wish to attend Sharon.eaton@sefton.gov.uk or 0151 934 3645.

Places will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Please indicate when registering if you have any special requirements such as large print materials, a signer, a hearing loop, or mobility issues and if you are happy to be included on the new joint database, so you know about future events you may be interested in.
