Looking for public governors
North West Boroughs NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a number of public governors.
The Trust works with service users, members of the public, carers and staff to improve services where they are needed most. To do this, the Trust has a Council of Governors; made up of staff, public and appointed members, who are the voice for the members and are elected by members.
People who are interested in becoming a governor are invited to come along to an open morning from 10am from 12pm on Tuesday 17 December 2019 in Meeting Room 3, Hollins Park House, Winwick, Warrington, WA2 8WA, to find out more information on what it means to be a Governor for the Trust.
Nominations will be open from Thursday 2 January 2020 to Friday 17 January 2020.
There are vacancies in the following areas:
• Knowsley x 1 vacancy
• Wigan x 3 vacancies
• St Helens x 2 vacancies
• Warrington x 1 vacancy
• Halton x 1 vacancy
• Other x 2 vacancies (this covers the rest of England)
Once elected, Governors will serve for a period of up to 3 years.
