Set in the 1950’s a widowed cleaner is getting by, making ends meet despite being exploited by her employers. At one house she has a glimpse of a Dior dress. This fuels her dream to travel to Paris to pick up one up for herself. The film tells of her determination and many setbacks as she struggles to get the money together for her journey to Paris.

It’s a lovely feel good film, but addresses many of the issues faced by women in the workplace as well as the class divide.

I hope you can join us on the night of 8th March.
