Publication of the infected blood inquiry report

Following the publication of the Infected Blood Inquiry report, a dedicated PALS phone line is available for anyone with questions or concerns about the care they have received at our Liverpool University Foundation Trust hospitals.

In response to the publication of the report, James Sumner, Chief Executive of LUHFT, said: “The infected blood scandal is an appalling tragedy and my thoughts are with all those impacted, particularly those patients who were under our care at the time and their families – I am sorry that was their experience. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and our teams are happy to address any questions or concerns this report may raise for patients currently in our care.”
