We need your experiences of visiting Accident & Emergency at either Aintree University hospital or The Royal Liverpool hospital
Have you used the Accident & Emergency Department at either Aintree University hospital or The Royal Liverpool hospital?
Yes, then we want to hear from you!
Healthwatch Sefton believes that health and care service providers can best improve services by listening to your experiences.
We recently published 2 patient stories which shared the experiences of attending an Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. We have continued to hear feedback about what is good and not so good about accessing A&E services and we want to know how the service is working for you and identify improvements. We would welcome feedback on:
- The A&E tannoy system – Did you hear up-to-date information on waiting times?
- Did you feel the A&E waiting area was Covid safe?
- Did staff do regular checks on patients in the A&E waiting area?
- Did you get offered water during your wait in A&E?
You can access the 2 patient stories here: https://www.healthwatchsefton.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Patient-Stories-of-accessing-AE-LUFT.pdf
