May 5, 2023
Last minute venue change ‘Living Well’ bus! You can find the bus at Waitrose Formby.
Wednesday 10 May, 10:30am-4pm – Waitrose Formby, Three Tuns Lane, Formby, L37 4AJ No appointment needed.
The bus offers residents a free health check and the opportunity to catch up on first and second COVID-19 vaccines, as well as third primary doses for those who are immunosuppressed.
Operating as a drop-in service, the bus offers a range of physical health checks, COVID-19 vaccinations, and referrals to talking therapies.
The service, which is delivered by the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, was launched in June 2022 to offer a consistent health and care approach across communities across Cheshire and Merseyside. All activity is recorded and shared with your GP, ensuring ongoing understanding and support for your health is in place.
Find out more about the service on the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust website: https://www.cwp.nhs.uk/livingwellservice

Attended at Waitrose Formby today aged 65 for a health check ( it says over 18 health checks available ) was told it was for over 75s , a missed opportunity as our GP surgery are unwilling to do these .
NHS Cheshire and Merseyside have confirmed that these health checks are only available on the Living Well bus if there is capacity to offer them on the day. Priority is currently given to vaccinations and future communications will make this clear. If you wish to share any comments on your GP surgery you can do this via our feedback centre here; healthwatchsefton.co.uk/services/
