Maternity action offer free work and benefits legal advice to expectant and new parents

December 12, 2023

In partnership with Maternity Action, Cheshire and Merseyside Maternity Rights Advice Service provides free and confidential advice on rights at work and maternity pay and benefits for pregnant women and new parents who are living, working, or booked for maternity care across the Cheshire and Merseyside areas.

In a recent survey by Maternity Action, they found that 71% of respondents ‘worried a lot’ about finances during pregnancy. This worry can often impact the health and well-being of both the parent and the unborn baby and often continues postpartum.
