NHS England North West invite expressions of interest for non-clinical lay member role

NHS England is responsible for ensuring that primary care performers included on the national performers list are ‘fit for purpose’ (i.e., that there are no concerns regarding their health, conduct or competence which may affect their ability to perform NHS services).

The Professional Standards Team, NHS England North West Region, is one of 7 regional teams who have responsibility for ensuring safety in NHS primary care services.  Our Performance Advisory Group (PAG) considers any concerns that arise in respect of the GPs, dentists and opticians working within our area.  We currently have two vacancies for Non-clinical Lay Members to sit on our Performance Advisory Groups on an ad hoc basis.
