The Disability Partnership (Sense, Mencap, Scope and The National Autistic Society) is joining forces with NHS England to host a public participation event in March, following up the two successful events held in 2015 and 2014 in Taunton and Peterborough. The event will focus on enabling and supporting people with disabilities, service providers and commissioners, to work together to ensure meaningful participation in health and social care. Attendees will be disabled people, voluntary sector organisations and health and social commissioners

The day is free to attendees and includes:

  • The opportunity to hear from people with disabilities about their experiences of participation and how best to support them
  • A range of workshops giving an engagement opportunity for NHS England policies and programmes
  • A marketplace session for NHS England staff and other partners to share current projects and engage directly with service users

When:  Friday 18th March 2016, 1030am to 3pm

Where:  St George’s Hall, St George’s Place, Liverpool L1 1JJ
