Live in Sefton and been asked to book an appointment for wound care or stitches removal? We want to hear from you
Do you live in Sefton? Have you recently been referred to book an appointment for either wound care or to have stitches removed?
If so, Healthwatch Sefton wants to hear from you.
We are gathering feedback from residents about their experience of booking appointments for wound care or stitch removal at local ‘treatment room’ clinics across Sefton delivered by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
This may have been at one of the clinics listed below:
Sefton Road Health Centre
Bootle Health Centre
Maghull Health Centre
Thornton Health Centre
Churchtown Community Clinic
Southport Centre for Health and Wellbeing
Ainsdale Centre for Health and Wellbeing
Formby Clinic
Your feedback will help us to understand what is working well and where improvements might be needed. Your feedback will remain anonymous. By sharing your feedback, you can help shape better, more accessible care for everyone in our community.
We will use all of the anonymous feedback to help us understand what local experiences are like in accessing the service and share this with the provider of the service, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and the commissioner of the service, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside to help influence positive changes.
To share your feedback, you can complete an online feedback form by clicking here or you can share your feedback by giving us a call on 0800 206 1304 and we can record your experience.

I live in Southport but am prepared ro travel to a clinic. Why can I not book an appointment via the treatment rooms phone number for any clinic in any Southport/South Sefton/Liverpool or Knowsley clinic that has an available appointment? Why are you restricting services in this way? Why haven’t you one hub with access to all the available appointments?
Thanks for your comments about the treatment rooms booking system. You can also share this feedback anonymously on our feedback centre via this link:
