Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for a non-executive director

Mersey Care are seeking to appoint a non-executive director to join the Board (see below).


Base: Trust HQ, Kings Business Park, Prescot, Merseyside

Commitment: Minimum of three days per month

Salary: £13,000 per annum.

 

They are looking for an individual with a senior nursing background with current or very recent Board

level experience in the NHS or Health Education sectors.

 

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

 

• Strong business, audit and financial acumen

• Experience of working at a regional and/or national level

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

• The ability to understand complex strategic issues, analyse and resolve difficult problems

• An understanding of mental health

• A proven track record of leading sustainable, commercially viable business growth and

development

• A clear understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, liabilities and responsibilities of

non-executive directors

• A commitment to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust values and vision.

 

The successful post holder must be able to provide sufficient time and commitment to fulfill the requirements

of the role. The time commitment for non-executive posts is approximately three days per

month, although the working pattern is flexible across the year based on Trust activity.
