Meet the stars of BBC1’s Ambulance

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) would like to invite local community groups to join them at a unique engagement event on Monday, September 16 at Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road, PR8 6HQ.

People will get the opportunity to meet some of the NWAS staff including the stars of the popular BBC1 Ambulance documentary series, give feedback in an interactive way on any aspect of the services the Trust provides, and learn more about the services provided in the Sefton area.

This is an invitation-only event for local community groups and NWAS is keen for you to be involved to represent the needs of local people and ensure their voices are heard. The event will give the opportunity to hear how you’ll benefit from finding out more about the variety of ways that NWAS helps patients across the north west.

A sandwich tea with refreshments will be served at the event from 5pm when there will be an opportunity for networking. The meeting will begin at 6pm prompt with the event coming to a close at 8.30pm.

Below are activities which will take place at the event:

• Registration and networking with sandwich tea
• Welcome and NWAS film
• NWAS lightning talks and workshops on the following topics: NHS 111; Paramedic Emergency Service; Patient Transport Service
