Could you be a public governor?

North West Boroughs NHS Foundation Trust works with members of the public, service users, carers and staff to improve services where they are needed most.

To do this, the Trust has a Council of Governors; made up of staff, public and appointed members, who are the voice for the members and are elected by members.

Current vacancies:
There are Public Governor vacancies in the following constituencies:

• Knowsley x 2 vacancies
• Wigan x 3 vacancies
• St Helens x 2 vacancies
• Warrington x 1 vacancy
• Halton x 1 vacancy
• Other x 2 vacancies (this covers the rest of England)

Once elected, Governors will serve for a period of up to three years.
