Have your say in Sefton SEND survey for CQC and Oftsed inspection before 3 March

March 2, 2026

Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) have begun their inspection of Sefton’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Alternative Provision (SENDAP) to assess how effective the local area partnership’s commissioning arrangements are at identifying and meeting the needs of children and young people with SEND.

Your views are important to us and will help inspectors understand your child’s experience of the arrangements within your area.  As part of this process, inspectors want to hear directly from parents, children and young people, and practitioners about their experiences of SEND services.

If this applies to you, please take a few minutes to complete the relevant survey below:

👉 Parent/Carer Survey

👉 Children & Young People Survey

👉 Practitioner Survey

Your feedback is incredibly important and will help inform the inspection findings. The surveys are open until 9am on 3 March 2026. Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
