Southport African Caribbean heritage association (SACHA) free wellbeing sessions

Southport African Caribbean Heritage Association (SACHA) are launching a series of four monthly wellbeing sessions from October 2025 to January 2026, offering a safe, inclusive space for African and Caribbean heritage communities, their families, friends, and neighbours in Southport and Sefton.
The first session is a free event ‘Carnival crown and connection’ on Saturday 25 October from 4-6pm at the Methodist Church, Leyland Road, Southport PR9 9JQ.
It will include carnival crown making and a hot Caribbean dish, with both meat and vegan options.
Each session will combine emotional support, cultural expression, and practical assistance.
We aim to help people connect, heal, and strengthen their resilience through the winter months.
Participants will benefit from peer support, creative activities, warm meals, and signposting to essential local services.
