First dementia friendly screening at Bijou cinema Southport on Thursday 1 February!

The Bijou Cinema, Post Office Avenue in Southport are showing a dementia friendly screening of Kind Hearts and Coronets (PG, 1949) next Thursday, 1 February from 2.30pm. This is a new venture for the cinema so spread the word!
Dementia friendly means that the lights will stay on but low and the sound won’t be quite as loud as during ordinary films. Tickets cost £4 plus 30p booking fee, an accompanying carer or family member is free!
Plot: When Louis D’Ascoyne Mazzini, who hails from a royal family, is denied dukedom, he plans to kill all the potential threats in his way.
