Healthwatch Sefton are recruiting!

As an independent champion for people using local health and social care services within Sefton, we listen to people’s experiences of accessing and using these services, and we share their views with those with the power to make change happen.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles within our team;

Healthwatch Sefton Engagement Officer

Salary: £14,708 per annum

Hours: 21 hours per week (Fixed term employment- until 30^th September 2027)

Location: Burlington House, Southport Community Centre and various locations across the borough.

Closing date: 24^th August 2025

Job Purpose: To support Healthwatch Sefton’s work to engage with residents and voluntary, community and faith organisations, gathering their experiences of health and social care services and encouraging them to join Healthwatch as a community member.

Healthwatch Sefton Digital Communications Officer

Salary: £27,090 pro rata (£13,545.11 pa)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (Fixed term employment- until 30^th September 2027)

Location: Burlington House, Southport Community Centre and various locations across the borough

Closing date: 24^th August 2025

Job Purpose: To develop and deliver appropriate, comprehensive and accessible communication and marketing support for Healthwatch Sefton. To raise community awareness of Healthwatch Sefton’s branding, role and work projects.
