In Collaboration with Sefton CVS, Healthwatch Sefton held the Health & Social Care Forum and the Every Child Matters Forum.
Healthwatch Sefton had the pleasure of hosting a joint forum with Sefton CVS. The Health & Social Care Forum and Every Child Matters Forum was an interesting and informative day.
The event was held last week at St Nicholas Church in Blundellsands.
At this forum meeting we were updated on the Sefton Place Plan, it’s purpose, how it has been developed and the key priorities. Attendees had the opportunity to comment, sense check and ask questions. There was a focus on Community Resourcefulness, and delegates were asked to discuss this to help shape the definition that will be agreed and adopted by the Sefton Health and Care Partnership.
After lunch, attendees were invited to participate in a workshop looking at how Care Quality Commission (CQC) Assessment of adult care process could work and what Sefton will be doing in this first instance in regard to self-assessment.
Dr John Turner, Chairman of Healthwatch Sefton, closed the event with some final remarks and commented on how good it had been to network and meet with colleagues face to face.
