Maternity services listening event
Anyone who is currently attending maternity services at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, or has had a baby within the last three years, is encouraged to share their experience at a listening event later this month.
The Local Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is holding the event on Monday, 25 November at The Hart Space, 34 Hart Street, Southport, PR8 6BT, between 10am and 12noon.
Dani Gillette, chair of Southport Ormskirk Sefton MVP, says: “All are welcome to the listening event and also the MVP meetings, which are there for people to have their say on local maternity services to the people who can make changes.
“The listening event is an opportunity to talk to me and other parents confidentially about their maternity experience because their comments can help shape the local services.”
The next Maternity Voices Partnership meetings will be held at Ormskirk Maternity Outpatients Department, Parentcraft Room from 10am until 12noon on the following dates:
