The MS (Multiple Sclerosis) society want to hear your views on disability benefit cuts

May 8, 2025

We are the Evidence Team at the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society and we have launched a survey on benefits and MS, focused on the proposed changes to benefits, including Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The current Government’s proposals are a key issue for people with MS, so we’re trying to reach as many people as possible.

We would like to invite you to take part in a survey about benefits and the proposed changes to benefits, including to Personal Independence Payment (PIP). We are very keen to learn more about your experiences and feelings about these changes, as someone with MS. Whether you’re currently in receipt of benefits or not, we would love to hear from you.

We are concerned about the proposed changes and the potential effect on people with MS. So, we’re doing this work to gather lots of information and evidence so we can represent the voice of people with MS in our campaigns work and in our feedback on government proposals.

If you wish to complete the survey, you must be over 18 years old, live in the UK, and have MS.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.

We really appreciate you giving time to share your experiences. If you have any questions about the survey please don’t hesitate to contact us at evidence@mssociety.org.uk.
