Virtual Open Hospital Week – day four

Its day four of Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals NHS Trusts virtual Open Week, and today they have shared a video of Muffin, one of their therapy dogs. Muffin belongs to Dr May Ng, Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. When he comes in to visit, he does a fantastic job of lifting the spirits of both patients and staff.

Tomorrow they will be following a patient as she goes through hip replacement at Ormskirk hospital, and the final video on Saturday features a porter.
